Academies of Birmingham

Effective teaching and learning is invaluable to a child’s education. And, we’ve helped the fifth largest school district in Alabama do more. Academies of Birmingham is an innovative approach to education that connects student learning to career exposure. Our work with Birmingham City Schools has generated an increase in student enrollment in the academies program each year by more than 40 percent. We are now poised to offer Academies of Birmingham to every student in every high school in the district.
